Francisco was born and raised in Santiago, where his early interest in wildlife gradually developed into a strong motivation to pursue a career in tourism and help others discover Chile’s remarkable biodiversity.

He studied Tourism, gaining a solid foundation in travel planning, customer service, and industry operations. With more than ten years of experience, Francisco has organized and coordinated a wide variety of nature and wildlife trips across Chile and neighboring countries, always paying close attention to detail and traveler experience.

Understanding the importance of clear communication in the tourism industry, Francisco also completed a professional degree in English. This qualification allows him to interact fluently with guests from around the world, remove language barriers, and offer a more welcoming and enriching experience for international travelers.

At Albatross Birding, Francisco currently works in the Product Department and also serves as Head of Sales. He leads the development and coordination of specialized nature and birding programs, oversees customized itineraries, and manages the sales team to ensure that every client receives exceptional service. His commitment to quality and his passion for wildlife guide every aspect of his work.
