Daniel Terán
Birding GuideDaniel has more than 10 years of experience in field work related to wildlife research. He has participated in multidisciplinary teams of different conservation projects, involving emblematic species such as: Markham’s, Elliot’s and Hornby’s Storm-Petrels, Black-browed Albatross, Southern Sea Elephant, Blue Whale, Juan Fernandez Firecrown, Peruvian Diving-Petrel, Guanaco, Burrowing Parakeet, among others. Working with private, state and non-governmental organizations, has allowed him to travel to a large part of the country, visiting its many different landscapes.
Another one of his areas of expertise is in consultancy for environmental impact assessments of industry projects, where he has done both field and office work for more than 60 projects. His main interests are environmental education, research, conservation and special interest tourism.
